What will ESO do about this?

So just return today and about 4 days a person i had a falling out with months ago went ahead and Stole everything form my Bank, kick everyone form my guild and even change the message to something pretty bad

Will ESo do anything about this person or is he gonna get scot free without any punishment what so ever?

Nothing unless you open a ticket most likely. That usually solves it. Possibly they may be able to get the items back but at least the person could be banned. Sorry your guild went through that.

Maybe that person will see this Forum post. Let's hope so. And ZOS should absolutely ban that person.

Did you leave your guild bank open? If you had a falling out with the person, why did you leave them access to the bank and access to that level where they could control players allowed into and out of the guild? Unless they are trusted officers, no one should have access to it unless you open it for a special reason. I mean it's crappy they did it but you really have no one to blame but yourself for leaving it open to them.

You are going to need a ticket in with customer service so they can investigate. In the ticket, please make sure to specify what happened and any permissions that may have been incorrectly tagged. That will help CS get as much info as they can to see how to best rectify this situation.

There's a concept known as "last clear chance" where if someone didn't cause the bad thing that happened, but did have a clear opportunity to prevent it happening, they share culpability.

In this case, yes the bad actor emptied the bank, kicked people, and made nasty remarks in MOTD.

But if OP knew they had perms and had fallen out with them, OP should have removed the perms

If, if...we don't even know if OP ever gave them any permission. It may be a hacker. If not judiciary, still morally OP remains blameless.

I'd just add that OP can post their ticket number here as often the forum staff are able to check on a ticket and provide an update. But the forums are not going to be able to resolve the situation yeah, hopefully support can do so.

While I feel for the OP (none of us were there, so we don't know if the level of "falling out" they had rose to the need to remove all permissions of an officer) and I hope ZOS takes action, I also want to point out that those screenshots include words and phrases that wouldn't last 30 seconds if typed in a post here and also there's name & shame going on.

so do to teh inactive state i was in it gave him the lead, heck i even forgot he was in the guild to be honest

i see sorry about that just surprise return form a long hiatus and 4 days ago that had happen, it was just mess up and was hoping someone could inform me about weather ZoS could or would do anything about it, wasnt sure if this level of action they did was enough for ZoS to care or want to handle it.

This sheds new light.

When a GM is gone for an extended period without passing leadership to an active member, there comes a point where someone can grab control of the guild, fair and square. At that point, they are the boss and are free to empty the guild bank and remove members (horrible behavior, but allowed). I'll be surprised if ZOS returns any of the items.

I do think the player in question should get significant punishment for what they typed in the MOTD. That's a clear violation of TOS.

Had something like this happen in 2019 and they got off scot free luckily it was only 300k gold and a bunch of junk in the guild bank I mass reported the person screenshot the bank history etc and I don't think they were ever banned and never got my 300k back hope its different in your case.

i feel like that unfair, but hopefully something is done
