How to Abandon Subclassing Quest

Al-Chemical
I started the quest, A Study in Discipline, but decided not to subclass skills on my character. Now I can't abandon the quest.

Seriously, just do the quest, no one is gonna force you to multiclass. It's a quick one, or so I've heard.

The whole quest is just a dialog. Finish it, pick up the subclassing menu then cancel the choice and it will be done.

You *have* to change one skill line to complete the quest...

But you get a free Bound Skill Respec scroll, so you can change back at no cost if you didn't want to change a skill line.

As noted before, the team is aware of this issue and will have a fix for it. For now, you can either complete the quest, or ignore it until we update so that you can abandon it. We'll announce once a fix is available. Thanks for your patience as we work through this.

When selecting a subclass skillline and adding skillpoints, there is no indication you are using two skillpoints when allocating a new skill or passive.

Players should not be railroaded into taking a quest to learn about a game mechanic and be told, "Just do it and respec for free" Ridiculous.
Maythor: honestly we're getting the supermarket treatment here ... shrinkflation with the addition of simply moving things about so they seem fresher .. all the while being told a corporation is our friend :P

"PLAY YOUR WAY" my Aunt Suzy's ashcan.

If it comes with strings, it ain't free. It isn't a gift with purchase; you were overcharged. Companies don't love you; they love money.

I_CraftwithPntButter: 2023 is the year your supposed to be doing better , remember ? (Still waiting for that in 2025)

Advice for the future : com·mu·ni·ca·tion (noun)the imparting or exchanging of information or news.

KlauthWarthog: Well, they can definitely measure fun on their spreadsheets, otherwise they would not be able to nerf it so consistently.
