Only players who do not currently have an active ESO Plus membership can access the sale.
Hi, can you clarify whether or not this is available on PlayStation? No mention in the article and no sale option on the PS Store.
Steam (PC/Mac)
All Steam players, including those with active memberships, can access the sale.
This is what I see though:
It does show up for $7.49 when selecting a new subscription, but since I have had one in the past it directs me to that previous menu for $14.99. I'm kind of confused, and there are no refunds via steam for plus.

If you are getting it through the ESO account page, the discount only applies to those without an active membership. Each storefront has their own rules for how the discount applies, so please make sure to check the article for those specific rules.ESO Store (PC/Mac)

It seems like you may be trying to change the sub through your Steam account page. In order for the discount to apply through steam, you need to go through the ESO Store Page and select the ESO+ membership from there. It should then display the discounted sub. If you are still encountering issues, please let us know and we can take it back to the team to investigate.

I always wonder why companies run promotions which alienate their existing paying base users. I'm sure it must be effective otherwise it wouldn't be run but it really loses good will.
For example lets hypothetically say my subscription auto-renewed today. I would now pay double price for the next months subscription compared to someone who had let their subscription elapse and then renewed it.
Wouldn't it be far better to give all active recurring subscriptions X number of free days too (or the difference in crowns)? Happy customers spend more.

If you select ESO+ from the ESO store page, it takes you to that same account subscription management page. That is how you reenable ESO+ subs that have been previously purchased. I am unsure of another way to enable it. It sounds like the sale is going of for awhile, but for the discount I would like to get a month and clear up my inventory.

Is the sale on ESO+ what is now replacing the ESO+ Free Trials that we traditionally got 2-3 times a year?
This is the error I’m getting on the PlayStation store. I don’t currently have an active ESO+ subscription.
After reading the discussion above, I just decided to cancel my membership, so I would get the new price on sale for one month. But it didn't work also.

Okay, we got some clarification. You cannot be an active member. Currently, even if you cancel your sub, your current sub is still active for the duration of the previous subscription. So the system still sees you as active, even if your sub is cancelled.
So do not cancel your sub to try and claim the discounted rate. The system still sees your subscription as active.
I'm getting the same prices on my account too.
But on steam I see this:
It's way cheaper on Steam. But I never paid the ESO Plus from Steam, I always did that from my account and I still have a few days left. So, is it safe to add this promotion from Steam and later continue using the payments from the ESO account?

If you’re on Steam, cool—you get the discount even if you're subbed. But the rest? Nope. Nothing. Apparently, being a consistent supporter means you’re less deserving of a deal than someone who’s never paid a cent for ESO Plus.
It feels like loyal players who have been consistently supporting the game through ongoing memberships are being penalized, while only non-members benefit from the discount. I think many of us would appreciate if long-time supporters were shown a bit more love during these promotions—whether through loyalty discounts, extra perks, or at the very least, equal access to these kinds of sales.
Loyalty shouldn’t mean getting left out.
@Orbital78 Could you do me a favor and take a screenshot of other the purchase screen where you see the non-discount pricing. I want to send it in to our team working on this effort.
