Your changes of obtaining this drop are higher if you have the Dominion, Covenant, or Pact Fisherman achievement, and even higher still if you have all base-game Master Angler achievements.

your advert has a small typo. changes should be chances @ZOS_Kevin

Why to deny new players ability to purchase previous years cakes? Other ticket items from previous years are available to new players such as monolith and soulfire dragon pets, mounts, costumes etc. Please remove this restriction. Cakes are excellent items to spend tickets on.

Don't Crowns usually go on sale with this Event?

Not seeing it in the Store.

Not seeing it in the Store.

I've noticed a pattern regarding any Crown sales in the ESO Store for a few years now. All I'm saying right now is:

    Soon™.

The event is nice, as usual (It's also a lot of "work" with doing crafting on every character, but oh well :D Getting missing style pages for master crafting is too tempting). So, thank you very much for this!

One little note though: I can't be the only one who finds it strange that the cake has that daedric structure on top?! Especially since I know from PTS what it is. Why would people put that on their cake for a celebration, from a logical or lore perspective? I mean, I understand, that the whole cake design stands for the upcoming content, but it still makes no sense.

The best thing about this festival is that there is cake, which is good in itself, but it is nice that it is explicit how we are supposed to get event tickets.

However, it again underlines how tedious it is that we can't save more than 12 Event Tickets. I didn't even bother with some of the last festival as there was nothing I wanted to spend tickets on, while in this festival there are more things to spend them on than I could possibly obtain enough tickets for.

Maybe Donolon is even a daedra in disguise, we don't know. But that still doesn't explain why the people of Tamriel would be celebrating the next threat?

Also they Nerfed the archival provisioning bags from the infinite archive so if you were making money that way now you can't. And maybe it's because somebody posted a video about it on youtube? Who knows but that's probably how they found out about it.

It's disappointing that they nerfed the drop rate of good materials. I wasn't getting that much good stuff anyway, just a couple diminished aetherial dusts, a few rubyblossom extracts, and some perfect roe, and that's with doing crafting dailies on all 8 of my characters each day for the event so far. A handful of good items from hundreds of boxes. And now it will be even less.

What does it cost them to have a higher drop rate for event boxes? It might make the prices in the market go down, sure, but is that a bad thing? If more people can buy more mats, isn't that good for the game?

The anniversary event is always the one I look forward to the most, because of all the amazing drops you can get from the boxes. I know a lot of people agree, because you can see just how active all the zones are now with people doing so many daily quests. It's so much more fun with more people active. This year I have already noticed a sharp decline in the number of motifs I'm getting, and maybe that's just bad RNG, but it definitely feels more lackluster than previous years (even if I'm not counting last year's 10th anniversary event, which understandably had more rewards). If they keep nerfing the rewards, then people are going to stop caring and stop playing as much.

Throw us a bone here, ZOS. It's not like we're asking for much.

Well I opened 60 boxes and got only 1 motif. Yeah, before the 'hotfix' it was way more. So I am not even gonna bother with this 'event' anymore.

This is something I notice every year. On the first day of the event a lot of good stuff drops, although for me even perfect roe is good stuff because I have absolute negative Rng luck and from day three/four onwards hardly anything drops. This has always been the case with new areas. When it comes out, you'll find a lot more blueprints in containers until the first patch, and then not anymore. As if someone would say "whoops, too much"

I did want to mention how much I appreciate the event boxes are separate from tickets. I rarely want what the ticketed item is and its a pain to spend them out before I can collect the reward.

Why was the 2 hour xp cake buff removed ? This allowed players with multiple characters to throw the buff on each characters then log off and have that 2 hour xp buff still available when they logged back in that character. This has been the case since for ever why was this removed ? especially on a game that promotes or has multiple classes and skill lines. Seems like a loss not hearing much on this.

The XP buff doesn’t have to be activated now. It’s been that way for a while.

Why did they change it though So now basically you can only have the xp now during the event on the character your on. Before you were able to log off with the 2 hour buff on and the clock would continue when you log back in on. You could do this on multiple characters even after the event, that was the difference from other events and maybe this hasn't been the case for a year or 2 but for many years it was and it was nice to be able to do that as it allowed you to run that 2 hour xp on the characters when ever you had time.

There were some times where you'd finish a random daily dungeon and your buff would wear off a little before and you wouldn't notice. That always felt bad. I like the new way it works.

My only criticism is that there's still not a passive notice on your buff bar to let you know it's there. It'd be a nice UI update.

But that isn't what they're unhappy about.

They're unhappy because it's no longer possible to continue getting the XP buff on your alts for a while after the event has ended, by logging in and playing only very briefly on those alts (for instance, to do the daily crafting writs and then logging off), such that it can take several days, or even weeks, for the XP buff's timer to be all used up.

That was why a lot of players used to grab the XP buff on each of their cgaracters right before logging out on the last day of the event-- to maximize the time remaining on the XP buff.
