Ways to reduce health regeneration (to 0)?

So I'm trying to make overland content more challenging, and I think the best way of doing that in an immersive way would be to eliminate my health regeneration, making me rely on spells, mechanics, and crafted potions to regenerate my health.

I'm aware that vampirism can do this, but I'm unwilling to go that route because of the ultra-pale skin it gives you. My character isn't a vampire, and while I could overlook some veins around the eyes, I can't overlook his skin going chalk-white. So until ZOS adds a Mortal Mask skin, that's a no-go for me.

Other than vampirism, I've looked into potions, but I can't seem to find a potion effect that reduces health regeneration, much less to anywhere close to 0.

Does anyone have a better method?

Not a solution to getting your health regen down, but skins override the vampire visuals.

If you can find a skin that suits your character, that might be a way to go. Blackmarrow Necromancer makes your character only a bit paler and adds some glowy tattoos, or there are a few others that might fit your appearance.

Yeah, I hoped that might fix the issue for me, but the skin alterations are always too much for me, whether it be adding runes or making me paler, etc.

There are Potions/Poisons that have health ravage. Take points out of snake oil passive.

Not sure if there is a way aside from Stage 4 vampire to reduce your heal regen to 0, but if it's just the visuals you are worried about, there's tons of skins that alter your appearnce. If you want a character that looks mostly normal, I recommend the arctic rime, maormer scales, and khenarthi(?) henna off the top of my head, but there's plenty more.

Excluding potions/poisons with negative effects, reducing your health regen by yourself is hard to do, I only found Spaulder of Ruin which does that but you need group members :x
Though reducing your healing done/taken also reduces your health regen but it is also very rare ^^ I found Draugrkin's Grip, Pirate Skeleton and Jerall Mountains Warchief as sets that reduces your healing done/taken, and there's Render Flesh (and its morphs) from the Necromancer class as a skill which applies Minor Defile to yourself.
But with all that you would only reduce your health regen by like ~30%
So either find a discreet skin and go vampire stage 4, or use some sets/skill above with a self damaging set such as Pelinal's Wrath which in theory reduces your health regen ^^
