Complete 5 weekly endeavors with golden pursuit of 21 days. How?

There is a golden pursuit task that nobody can complete. 5 Weekly Endeavors. As the GP only runs for 21 days, there are no 5 weekly endeavors possible.

@ZOS_Kevin was this maybe supposed to be daily endeavors instead of weekly?

In my german client it says something like „complete 5 weekly tasks“ and only the hints when hovering over the pursuit say „endeavor“.
Maybe weekly trial quests work, too?

Checked my client (German). It clearly states that one has to finish 5 weekly tasks.
Asked a few guild members who use the english client and they are reading the same exact thing.

I'm bad at math but something tells me this ain't gonna work out the way you intended, guys.

Unless they extend the time on this, there's absolutely no way this can be done

Thanks everyone, just confirming we're aware of this issue and are investigating some options. In the meantime, you should still be able to complete the Golden Pursuit even with this issue present.

Maybe a mis-type. Does the counter increase when you do a daily endeavor or some other weekly task instead?

I tried daily endeavor - counter didn't increase.

I'll also join in the chorus of "who skipped their morning coffee before making this decision?" Some of those pursuits are the kind of annoyances that most of us older players have (can't be done without starting a new character), but "complete 5 weekly endeavors" with a 21-day pursuit and starting on a day when many of us have already completed this week's weekly? Someone definitely skipped their coffee. The capstone seems to be earnable (I think I counted 20 or 21 doable pursuits and 18 are needed), but there's a difference between "pick your activities" and "here's a list, but you can skip a couple."

Not to mention, Increase Bank Capacity 10 times. Since that increase is account wide, anybody who has been playing for a while will already be maxed out and cannot do this one either.

Makes me regret finishing the weekly yesterday lol. 20 quests is 3 character's worth of writs and now there's a pursuit with weekly endeavors

This is honestly a pretty bad look. I know that there are still tons of easy options to complete this pursuit, but putting something in it that's literally impossible to complete shows that nobody is bothering to check the pursuits to see if they make any sense or are reasonable.

... Nevermind there are other impossible tasks for many players there, AGAIN, which WERE raised previously:

* Earn 10 Levels
* Improve Bag Capacity 10 Times
* Improve Riding Skills 5 Times
... And while these can be answered as, "Oh, just delete one of your characters and do them again...", this one is impossible even that way
* Improve Bank Capacity 10 Times

First time, these could have been a mistake, second, they are nothing short of an insult...

(Yes, there are still enough tasks to complete even with 5 impossible, but that's a very narrow margin, and sends the "do the tasks you like" approach out the window.)

(The only saving grace is that "Earn 5 Ranks in a Skill Line" works with subclassing... THIS TIME...)

Came here to point out the same thing. The only saving grace is that even if you hadn't competed the Endeavour yesterday (like me it completed automatically when 3 characters complete a set of crafting dailies), it would still be impossible.

What gets me is more not just that it is impossible to complete. As others have said there are plenty of other tasks that let you get all the rewards without it, But mow it got included in the first place. A pursuit that takes a minimum of 35 days to complete in 21 days. Its just basic maths.

Following back up here, we're planning to update the Golden Pursuit to reduce the weekly endeavors required down to just one (rather than the unattainable 5). Additionally, anyone who has already completed their weekly endeavor for this week by the time this update rolls out, will receive credit for completing this task.

We'll let you know as soon as we have scheduled timing for this update, but we're currently aiming for sometime later this week. Thanks!

Well I guess we should still be able to complete the pursuit without this one. And without the weekly endeavor one. And without a couple more surely !

At this pacing, I guess we will soon have some specific reward locked behind a bugged / impossible to do tak. But don't worry folks, ESO will be investigating the issue !

This is a good solution, but can you tell us if there is now a process in place for someone to validate golden pursuits before they go live to make sure all the pursuits are both possible and reasonable to complete in the time given?

Please forgive me but I sincerely think that the salient feature this very excellent game lacks and is often sorely underrated is Quality Assurance... i.e a team that makes sure that things work as intended.

This is awesome! I completed the weekly without even knowing it was a weekly on Monday because I was doing writs to get that bonus XP. My eye definitely twitched when I saw it on the Pursuit list today. While it's very likely I'd have been able to knock it out on a future weekly while the GP is active, it's not guaranteed, so I'm glad it's retroactive this time. (Injured hand makes it so I type and play one-handed as much as possible. Which cuts me off from a lot of content right now. Thankfully there's autorun and autosprint, so I could still mount up and go explore Solstice.)

I don't see this as an insult at all. It's a good mix of tasks for all levels of players. I have 1 account that is maxed out on toons and achievements. It's easy to get the 18 golden pursuits I need with this list of pursuits.

I have an very new account that doesn't have ESO+, and has very few achievements, and has difficulty soloing a base-game world boss. It's easy to get the 18 golden pursuits I need with this list of pursuits.

It's hard to create a list of activities that is useful to the vast array of experience, DLC access, skill base, CP points, etc that this game has. This one is good.
