Unjustified social ban? (ticket # 250601-001250)

Hi there! I just paid my dues and was looking forward to playing #46 and bam! I found out I could not use guild banks, guild traders, or send mails or trade! After asking around for a bit, I decided I am in a social ban. I have no idea why. The only thing I can think of was I sent out 1 batch of guild mails for our quarterly raffle on Saturday. Is that bannable? I do not send them often at all. I am only responsible for quarterly raffle. Please look into it. I am holding the raffle prizes to be given out, and I am about to lose my legendary seller status if this goes on. Pretty please. I am happy to correct any actions that cause the ban if any, though I do not believe I did. I receive other guild's spam like weekly, so it would be crazy if I send one out in months and get banned. Thank you in advance for looking into this!

It is very likely the mass mailing caused the ban, it is well known for doing so!

These bans typically aren't too long, often around 72 hours.

One of my GM friends has hit this a few times.

Put in a ticket support might help.

Sorry I'm tired, I see you have a ticket in already, keep replying to that, don't put another one in, that puts you to the back of the queue!

Hi thank you! What surprised me is that I receive mass mailing Or I assume it is because it is meant for the whole guild all the time. And I also did this type of mailing before. In neither case was a ban initiated. But thank you for the information!

It can sometimes vary based on the speed and number of mails being sent as well as their content. For example if you were sending a lot of 'rewards' gold/items to a lot of different players that's likely what triggered it.

Your guild might want to split up reward mailouts amongst a number of players to reduce the impact on 1 account.
