Can we please Look at Ayleid Torc drop rate?

I have spent hundreds of hours in this place, grinding and grinding and grinding. I have 0 out of 5 leads for this item. I have 21 other leads, I have all the unlocks and have another 70k fortunes. This is horrible. I played back in the day when you couldn't transmute gear and I still never had to spend this much time grinding for any item in this game. I think there is an actual issue with the drop rate, and you can google and see many many many forum/reddit posts about people having the same issue. There are of course also people who say they got all 5 straight away, but that doesn't mean that a lot of players who go after this item are imprisoned in this place for hundreds/thousands of hours. I just want someone to check the droprate and make sure it's not bugged because I haven't seen zos reply to anyone on this subject.

It took me a long, long time... and it's been totally worth it for my PvP Templar.

I'd say unless there's a legit bug blocking some people from gaining the drops, I think the Torc's grind is a brutal one, but maybe that's ok? Sometimes it's kinda nice to have things that are high effort/time accomplishments in the game.

Mind you, there ARE bugged droprates at times, so if that's really the case it definitely should be addressed.

I'm fine with a grind, one of my favorite games of all time is runescape (oldschool) and I spent many years on that game. The problem that I have is that I can't even tell if I'm actually making any progress because some hundreds of hours ago I was 0/5 pieces and now afterward I'm 0/5 pieces. Like if it was once I make it to 500 hours I'm guaranteed to get the item, sure fine whatever I'll put in the work. But I can't even be sure of that.

I had a similar issue, but I got it after I stopped opening/using leads for fortunes or other drops in there. Once I did that, the Torc leads dropped more frequently

Have you tried going in duo? I got most, I think 4 out of 5, from the side quests, which are much easier with two. Plus it's way quicker and you can go deeper into the archive.

Fwiw. It took me about 200 hours. I literally celebrated afterwards.... might have cried a bit... 🤧
