Confusion on trial gear

I'm missing 6 pieces from Coral Ripted (all weapons). I just ran DSR moments ago. Everything I got..and I mean everything was a dup of what I had besides one item, Pillagers Dagger. I thought trial gear was curated...is this not the case? Thank you.
