Trove/Cunning Scamps

Looking to polish off these final ICP achievements. I have a few scamps already from just being in ICp Sewers.

Are there specific spawn spots, and if so what is the easiest alliance to do it on?

I imagine it involves a lot of waiting around too.

I googled it (I think it I googled the how to get the achievment by name) and a map and there is one spot that they spawn in only two places. If you kill one in one spot, the next pop will be at the other one. You can then just go back and forth until you're finished.

Did both achievements relatively easily. Put different alliance characters at different spawn spots and logged in and out of each.

I don't remember when it was, but at some recent time the drops from these scamps were buffed quite a lot, but the spawn rate was significantly reduced. Not sure if there was an adjustment to the achievement.

i havent noticed a spawn rate difference, though i never farmed for them specifically, i just knew the general areas where i would find them in my normal sewer farming circuits lol

the cunning scamps did get buffed by their satchels giving a lot more tel var (think the last one i got was like near 2500)

the trove scamps only got a minor buff, which was they drop 1 piece of uncurated IC set gear (kind of annoying they are uncurated but still better than absolutely 0 drops from before)

@kringled_1 they reduced the achievement from catching 100 of each, to 10 of each.

Never in a month of sundays would i farm 100 of each 🤢

during the upcoming Whitestrakes Mayhem, there is an achievement for killing the special scamp during the event.

So... does anybody know what is their spawn rate NOW?

All guides still use the older numbers, when they were much more frequent.

I don't think the rate has changed. I tried this a while back when it was 100 required and only did a few, then i finished it when they changed it to 10. They spawn about the same amount of time as before.

Spawn rate of treasure scamps are mentionned in the patch notes of U39 and it says it has been reduced.
